I just had to share with you the awesome website I found today. The author’s name is Amy, and a post on her blog helped me get the signature at the bottom of my post. Not only that, after I created the signature, it had an annoying box around it, which, of course, being ignorant about these things, I had no idea how to get rid of. I went back to Amy’s site, and lo and behold, she had addressed this very issue! She has lots of great tips as well as free blog templates that are available to download. If you’re thinking of starting a blog, but haven’t done so yet, or, if you’re like me and just don’t know very much about all this blogging stuff, then definitely go over and check out her site. I just read your comment on Lysa’s blog “My Story.” I struggled for over 10 years to tell my children about thier brother,Christian, that they would never meet here on earth.
My husband and I made a decision in 1989 because the time wasn’t right or so we felt. I lived with that secert for many years believing that I could go on with my life to the fullest.
My life was a mess. My second marriage was failing, my son (from my first marriage) was withdrawing and our daughter who was born in 1993 desperatly needed her Mom.I wanted so much to love her but I couldn’t and didn’t know why.
Our church offered a bible study “Forgiven and Set Free” in 2000 and that was the beginning to the end of satan’s lies.
Going through the study helped me to receive God’s grace and forgiveness. Then God laid on my heart that this secert had to be brought out into the open. I was so afraid, had so many questions of how would my children,friends and family react.
Please let me reassure you when God opens that door walk through it. It will be ok, for what satan has destoryed God will restore.
My secert was revealed to my daughter when she was 10 (she is now 14)and our relationship has been restored and we now embrace her brother through conversations and tears.I told my son in 2003(he was 24)and he too has forgiven me.
I am now Program Coordinator for the Abortion recovery at our local crisis pregnancy center. I was asked to speak to my daughter’s youth group that she attends,with her blessing. God was awsome that night and it was well received.
